Acort creates short links and QR codes for sharing web destinations. It is an independent project, not affiliated with the institutions, companies, or websites whose links are shared. Contact: finanzasconiartificial@gmail.com.
Using the service
Check destinations before sharing and make sure you are authorized to share the content. Do not include passwords, confidential information, or access tokens in URLs. Shortening a URL does not verify its safety or mean Acort endorses its content.
Accounts and limits
You can create up to 7 links a day per public IP address when signed out, or up to 7 a day per signed-in account. People on a shared connection may share the signed-out allowance. Allowances reset at midnight UTC-5, regardless of your location. The public form also has a site-wide limit of 1,000 new links a day. Security checks and other limits may temporarily prevent requests.
Google sign-in shows links created while signed in. Older links or links created without signing in are not automatically assigned to an account. Pro test access allows editing destinations and titles of your own active links. When access expires, the last saved destination remains and editing is disabled. The allowance stays at 7 links a day. Pausing and reviewing links is an administrator function. Counters are approximate and may include bots or repeat visits.
Prohibited uses
Do not use Acort for fraud, impersonation, phishing, malware, spam, harassment, exploitation, rights violations, or unlawful disclosure of personal information. Pornography and sexually explicit content are also prohibited. Do not evade limits, access other accounts or links without authorization, compromise the system, or interfere with its operation.
Reporting and moderation
Report a link using the report form or email finanzasconiartificial@gmail.com. The administrator may pause links or restrict accounts for abuse or a security risk. To request a review, email the link and explain the situation. Creating a link does not constitute a prior review of its destination.
Availability and retention
Acort is in a testing phase. Interruptions, changes, and capacity limits may occur. Availability and permanent retention are not currently guaranteed. Keep the original destination. For printed materials or critical communications, test links and keep an alternative way to access the content. These terms do not exclude rights that are mandatory under applicable law.
Pricing and advertising
No real-money payments are enabled in this version. Accounts authorized by the administrator can test a PayPal Sandbox subscription at USD 1 a month, with simulated renewals until canceled. This is not the commercial Pro price. Activation requires a verified completed payment in PayPal; returning to Acort alone does not activate access. Canceling preserves the confirmed simulated paid period and stops future renewals. Refunds or reversals can revoke access associated with a payment. An account may still show Pro if a separate manual trial remains active.
The daily allowance remains 7 links. This version allows one Sandbox subscription per account and does not support buying again after cancellation. Manual Pro trials last 7 days, without payment or automatic renewal, and may be revoked early for abuse. Links redirect straight to their destination without an intermediate Acort advertising screen.
The planned Pro launch price is USD 7.99 for 12 months, paid once, with no automatic renewal. The annual purchase is not available yet and does not provide lifetime access. Pro will keep the 7-link daily allowance; its benefit is editing destinations and titles of your own links while keeping the short URL and QR code. When access expires, the last destination remains and editing is disabled, subject to availability and moderation terms. Final purchase terms will be shown before purchases are enabled.
